Hello, I’m Ellie – an independent body double, brain dumping and lived experience mentor who collaborates with Flourish with Neurodiversity. Im also a mother of four, home educator, and body doubling coach. I live with AuDHD (Autism + ADHD), so I know first-hand the daily challenges of decision paralysis, sensory overload, perfectionism, and task-switching struggles. For years, I felt like the wrong puzzle piece in the wrong place, misunderstood and misdiagnosed.
Everything changed when my children were diagnosed and I finally recognised myself too. My AuDHD diagnosis was a revelation – it helped me feel whole for the first time.

As a child, I was misdiagnosed with depression. Deep down, I knew it didn’t explain why I struggled to “fit in” with mainstream expectations.
Later, through my children’s journey, I found the clarity I needed. Receiving my diagnosis helped me understand myself and gave me the freedom to embrace strategies that actually worked.
Body doubling became one of the most powerful tools – and I’m passionate about sharing it with others who feel stuck, isolated, or overwhelmed.
Body doubling means working alongside another person – in person or virtually – while you tackle your own tasks. You don’t have to talk, and I’m not there to supervise.
Instead, I provide a calm, non-judgmental presence that helps reduce overwhelm, co-regulate emotions, and gently hold you accountable. This simple technique often makes starting easier and creates momentum to keep going.
Body doubling can help if you:
✔ Struggle to start or finish tasks.
✔ Get stuck in overthinking or avoidant loops.
✔ Feel isolated when working through admin.
✔ Thrive with gentle accountability, not pressure.
There’s something powerful about shared focus. In our AuDHD Body Double Group, we come together on mute, each working on our own tasks.
Just knowing others are doing the same brings connection, momentum, and relief from the isolation of “going it alone.”
It’s not about competition – it’s about community and getting things done together.
Alongside lived experience, I’ve completed specialist training, including:
✔ Level 2 Autism and Understanding Qualification.
✔ NVQ in Early Years Education.
✔ Level 3 Teaching Assistant Award.
✔ Understanding Child and Young People’s Mental Health.
✔ Introduction to Counselling Skills.
✔ Sensory Processing Skills Course.
✔ Reiki and Mindfulness Courses.
✔ Trainee Counsellor
I’m also DBS-checked and Safeguarding trained, ensuring my work with families and individuals is safe, professional, and supportive.
If you’re looking for someone who understands AuDHD from the inside and can help you find focus without judgment, I’d love to work with you.
Whether through 1:1 sessions or group body doubling, I’ll be alongside you, helping you start, continue, and finally complete the tasks that matter.
